Faith Love Hope

Statement of Faith

The Christian Temple is a non-denominational incorporated community church, dedicated to disseminating the Gospel of Christ throughout the world until Jesus comes in Triumph.

✟ We Believe in the plenary inspiration of God's Word, this being the only authentic and infallible Word of all ages.

✟ We Believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

✟ We Believe our redemption has been accomplished through the acceptance of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that our Lord Jesus is the first fruit of our resurrection.

✟ We Believe that the Son of God, Jesus, became incarnate, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

✟ We Believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit: His personality (John 16:7-15), deity (Acts 5:3-4), His work in each believer at the moment of regeneration (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12 & 13), the subsequent Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4), giving an enduement of power for Christian life and service (Acts 1:8) with continued fillings (Eph. 5:18)

✟ We Believe in a true repentance from sin to righteousness, the eradication of sin and self, and the temple being cleansed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

✟ We Believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory, that at His appearing, the dead in Christ shall rise first, and with the living saints will be glorified together, being caught up to ever be with the Lord, and shall dwell in peace with their God forever.

✟ We believe in eternal punishment for all unbelievers and sinners, who have not received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and that their judgment is just and final.

✟ Mark 12:30-31: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: "Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." Don't just stand on the sideline, we challenge you to get engaged in your local church, and community.

The purpose of this site is first, to spread the Good News of Jesus the Christ, second to disseminate an interpersonal biblical understanding and thirdly to encourage people to attend the Christian Temple church. These goals do not preclude differences of opinions from being expressed on this site. While this site is operated, in part, for the benefit of the Christian Temple church(CTC) in Uhrichsville of Ohio, it is not operated and under the authority of the CTC nor has it been formally sanctioned by the CTC. The opinions expressed on this site may or may not be the opionions of the CTC administration.

CTC's Statement of Faith states that the Christian Temple is an interdenominational church. The senior pastors define interdenominational as "a place where all are welcome to come and worhship with us". And while this is certainly true, this definition also means 'to worship the way we worship', so don't expect to come and find anything that is specific to any single Christian denomination. The definition of interdenominational, from Google is "relating to more than one religious denomination". Dictionary.com defines interdenominational as "occurring between, involving, or common to different religious denominations". Clearly this would include doctrines and actions from multiple denominations, which you will not find at CTC.

CTC's Statement of Faith makes the declaration that,

We believe in eternal punishment for all unbelievers and sinners, who have not received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and that their judgment is just and final.

however, I personally would not include the word sinner in this declaration for the simple reason that the bible declares that 'all have sinned' so 'sinners' applies to everybody. The deciding point is not whether a person is a sinner or not, but if a person believes that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life [eternal].

Christian Temple Church House Pastor

House Pastor - Julie Hostetler

Pastor Juli, daughter of the senior pastors, has been involved with the Christian Temple Church all her life. At age 11, she started playing piano with the worship band. At age 20 she became the leader of the Praise and Worship team. She received her ordination in 2011 from the Christian Temple Church. She is now pastor over the music department, and also works with her ministry "Connection" which launched in 2012. "Connection" is a place where young adults 18-25 can fellowship and seek a closer walk with Christ. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 1:4-10 - Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Then said I: "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." But the Lord said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth; For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you." says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."
